Vacancy Description

Kenya Education Network Trust (KENET), the National Research and Education Network (NREN) of Kenya is a not-for-profit membership operator incorporated to support research and education institutions. We provide cost-effective, fast and reliable Internet connectivity and related services to enhance education and research. Using ICTs, we provide education technology services and research solutions to our member-institutions countrywide. KENET also provides various resources and services, including travel grants and capacity building.

ENET invites suitable recent university graduates to apply to join the one-year Graduate Trainee program at KENET that aims to develop capacity in communication and journalism.

Requirements

Applicants must have graduated less than two years from the date of this advert from recognized universities in areas of journalism or communication from a recognized university with demonstrable excellent oral and written communication skills and interest in science, technology and innovation communication or journalism.
